Why would you agree with lower amount then and didn’t open a dispute/asked to cancel?
It really depends on the situation and on the buyers wish to cooperate.
We rely on common sense, it is obvious that buyer from the very beginning wasn’t going to pay the price stated in his offer.
That’s why he is trying to negotiate. If you agreed in trade with this price most probably dispute will be awarded to the buyer as both sides confirmed the fact of the deal. But moderator on his own discretion can award this dispute to the vendor as vendor didn’t get full payment/ask to pay full price/ or open a new trade for the amount of btc that will be equal to the payment provided, based on the offer rate. (In case if the buyer refuse to follow instructions). However we will not give vendors to abuse this somehow to get extra money. All disputes will be solved considering interests of both sides.
P.S. I hope that high margins problem and price negotiation will be sorted soon. I believe that most of our customers are honest and don’t want to cheat. Some of them just don’t know how to set offer markups correctly, to get desired price.
Buyers who already got warning, and whos offers were deactivated, be aware that all these actions were recorded and the second warning will mean ban of the account, please take it seriously. Have nice trades everyone!
